CAGAYAN de Oro City--A 16-year-old pregnant minor survived when shot by riding-in-tandem suspects along Fr. Masterson Avenue in Upper Carmen here after attending a court hearing Tuesday morning.

Vicky, not her real name, of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, accompanied by her mother and an unknown lady companion, are waiting for a ride when waylaid by two unidentified helmetwearing gunmen ridingin-tandem, one them shot her at close range. Police Major Ian Borinaga, the police station commander of Carmen, said that the suspect probably aimed at the victim’s head and fired two shots, but missed thus hitting the neck instead.
