VILLANUEVA, Misamis Oriental--Rep. Juliette T. Uy of the second district of Misamis Oriental has refiled in the 18th Congress her House Bill no. 9207. Principally authored by Rep. Uy, HB 9207, otherwise known as the “Wastes Act of 2019,” seeks to establish a total ban on the import and export of wastes, providing for means for its enforcement, appropriations, and for other purposes. CAGAYAN de Oro City-The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is still tracking down the suspects who ambushed the convoy of Masiu Mayor Nasser Pangandaman Jr. of Lanao del Sur on Sunday morning.
