91 NorMin LGUs receive ‘Child-Friendly’ award Big Bad Wolf returns to Davao
DAVAO CITY--The Big Bad Wolf returns to Davao City on November 22- December 2 at the Enderun Tent in Azuela Cove business district. Touted as the world’s biggest book sale. The 24hour book event will have over a million book titles where shoppers can avail of 50 to 90% discount. Big Bad Wolf will be partnering with Gawad Kalinga Jacqueline Ng, co-founder of the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is expecting more people to come to this year’s book sale in Davao City. The Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. signs a sisterhood agreement with the Gwangyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry Friday (November 8, 2019) at Xavier Estates Country Club. Under the agreement, the two organizations shall, within their competencies, make every reasonable effort to develop trade, economic, scientific and technical relations, including other forms of economic cooperation between enterprises, companies, industries and entrepreneurs. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY -- Ninety-one towns and cities in Northern Mindanao region were conferred the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance for 2018 by the regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Friday. In cooperation with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the award was based on the performance of local government units (LGUs) following a set of standards that require them to become communities that are safe for children, said DSWD-Region 10 Director Mari-Flor A.
