DSWD distributes P99 B for SAP, covers 625,484 bens in Region 10

AGAYAN de Oro City--Helping 17.52 million families make ends meet during the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 crisis, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) already released P99.05 billion for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) covering 625,484 families in the region with a total of P17.42 million disbursement.

completion of SAP distribution. About 702 LGUs have submitted their liquidation report while 283 LGUs have given their partial liquidation report. In northern Mindanao, only 2,759 families are left unserved with a total disbursement requirement of P17,426,050. The region targets 628,243 SAP beneficiaries with a total budget of P3.76 billion. For areas qualified to receive the second tranche of SAP, Bautista said, "Kung pwede madaliin natin ang pag-submit ng liquidation

DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) is set to identify and inspect more streets for the drafting of a bicycle route plan in preparation for the establishment of bicycle lanes in Davao City as mandated by an ordinance passed a decade ago. Chinkie P. Golle, executive director of the Interface Development Interventions (IDIS), said this is a major development in the 10-year battle of environmentalists and cycling advocates here to implement Ordinance No. 0409-10 or the Bicycle Ordinance.
