RTMI opens CDO-Cotabato City route amid pandemic By GERRY LEE GORIT Correspondent

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - The Rural Transit Mindanao, Inc. (RTMI) on May 7 formally launched its new route (Cagayan de oro-Cotabato City) aid the pandemic brougth about by Corona Virus Disease. Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Regrional Director Allan Guro said the RTMI has deployed 15 new air-conditioned and non-aircon buses initially to serve Cagayan de OroCotabato City passengers. Guro said the fare rate for the 5-6 hours of travel time is Php541.00 excluding the privileged fare given to students, senior citisens, and Persons with disabilities (PWDs). DPWH worker busted in illegal drug entrapment By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Local police collared a high value target (HVT) who reportedly sells “Shabu” (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride), an illegal drug substance, during a “buy bust” entrapment in the coastal village of Bonbon here, the police said Sunday. Pol/Col. Henry G. Dampal, the City’s Chief of Police, identified the HVT suspect as Mark S. Ranullo, 37, married, a resident of Zone 5, Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City. Dampal said that Ranullo, an employee who holds a regular position with the DPWH regional office, has been an object of surveillance as among those listed as HVT suspects. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Cagayan de Oro First District Cong. Rolando Uy and his wife, Lorna, the incumbent Barangay Chairperson of Carmen, were hospitalized after they tested positive for Covid-19 virus.
