ILIGAN CITY -- City Mayor Celso Regencia firmly reiterated that the political stand of each Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary must not be a factor for its ineligibility
from the program. This after the nearing campaign and election period concerns involving the program’s beneficiaries were addressed during the first quarter meeting of the Department of Social
Welfare and Development (DSWD) with the city local government and the members of the city inter-agency committee (CIAC).
[During the time when a politician will say that the
beneficiary will be removed from 4Ps if he or she does not vote for the said person, let us make it clear that no official or politician can easily remove a member of 4Ps.]
