‘Shabu’ distributor falls in CDO drug buy bust By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: An alleged distributor of illegal drug “Shabu” (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride) was collared in a buy busts pulled by law enforcers in a coastal village here, intelligence sources said Monday. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The provincial government of Misamis Oriental announced on Monday that it will allocate over PHP1.9 million as cash assistance to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) efforts in its 424 villages. Misamis Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Emano said during the virtual flag-raising ceremony that each village
will get PHP4,500 cash to help in Covid-19 response efforts. Emano said the assistance will be given personally as going to the bank will mean added inconvenience and expenses. “Example, in Balingasag town. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The state-run Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) appealed Friday for public understanding after the hospital reached its admission limit for COVID positive patients. In a piblic advisory posted in the hospital’s social media platform, the NMMC sought public understanding because the hospital’s energency rooms and wards for COVID -19 patients are now “operating beyond its Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. RTMI provides ‘Libreng Sakay’ for APORs, health workers, partners with LTFRB-10 By GERRY LEE GORIT Correspondent
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – As one of its programs to help in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. (RTMI) has partnered with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-10 (LTFRB-10) in the official launching of LTFRB’s service contracting “Libreng Sakay” program for authorized persons outside of residence (APOR) and
health workers recently. The launching was held at the Bukidnon Provincial Capitol in Malaybalay on June 7. The “Libreng Sakay” is in alignment to the Service Contracting Program of the Department of Transportation and LTFRB which aims to subsidize the drivers to ameliorate their financial struggles amidst this CoRural Transit Mindanao Inc.
