Cagayan de Oro joins the national celebration under a Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) status from June 1-15, 2021 following a recent surge in covid-19 cases affecting the city and Northern Mindanao. Never has the city faced an enemy as insidious, deadly and all-consuming as the coronavirus.
