CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Col. Aaron Mandia, the city police director, has condemned to the highest level the killing of a delivery rider, a resident of Western Kolambog in Barangay Lapasan, this city,
along with his girlfriend, who was allegedly raped. Mandia said the incident occurred at a portion of the coastal road in San Roque, Lapasan at around 1:30 a.m. of July 17, 2022, following a concerned citizen’s report to the police. He said responding po-
lice officers found the victim already dead. “That upon arrival thereat victim was found lying on the ground bathing with his own blood. Responding elements identified the victim as certain Cris Sabaldana Semaña, 24 years old, male, single,
delivery rider and a resident of Western Kolambog Lapasan CDOC,” Mandia said. It was learned by the team that the victim has a companion, a 17-year-old female, believed to be the rider’s girlfriend, he added. See PROBE, page 11
