AGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Dr. Jose Chan, medical director, of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) here on Monday said he has filed a leave until end of July to belie reports that he resigned as NMMC hospital chief.

An editor of a local newspaper wrote that Chan leaved the NMMC Friday after having an altercation with fellow doctors because of the non-payment of the “hazard allwances” of the hospital personnel. In a prepared statement released Monday morning,
