ANILA, Philippines - The country will have its new Philippines National Police chief even as the PNP organization’s image was tarnished with the “ninja cops controversy” in 2019, that toppled down the active leadership of former PNP chief General Oscar Albayalde.

PRESIDENT Duterte on Friday graced the 2020 national convention of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) at the SFX Convention Center in Davao City. Founded in Quezon City in 1968, TFOE (Philippine Eagles) is a socio-civic organization with a guiding principle of service through strong brotherhood and fra-
ternal ties among members as keystone to humanitarian service. The fraternal organization boasts of the President, several Cabinet members and a number of senators as among its members. It can be recalled that as early as 2017, TFOE (Philippine Eagles) has already expressed its support and commitment to the admin-
istration of the President. Even then TFOE (Philippine Eagles) has already been touted as one of the country’s biggest socio-civic organizations. “We have supported the President when he ran for office and we still continue to support him,” TFOE (Philippine Eagles) stated in a collective statement.
