Inter-agency task force eyed against colorum taxi T

HE city government of Cagayan de Oro and the Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board in Region 10 (LTFRB-10) will soon go after those colorum taxi units in the city.

Council for mental health eyed in Oro CAGAYAN de Oro City-”The law requires the creation of a local mental health council,” said Dr. Ramon Moreno of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, a government-run hospital located in the city. “It is mandated by law to create the council,” Moreno pointed out as a study group started to craft the proposed Mental Health Ordinance. If the council is functional, and would need an area for meetings, the mental health office can be utilized for planning, strategizing, and formulating policies

for the purpose, he added. Mike Fabello of the City Social Welfare and Development Department assured that he will make a follow-up on the creation of a mental health council, while the study group is crafting the proposed ordinance. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-10 (LTRRB-10) is ready to facilitate a dia-

logue between a transport cooperative and those who disrupted its operation as it started plying its designated route using modern-

ized public utility vehicles (PUVs) on Sunday. LTFRB-10 regional director Allan Guro said his office is open for a meeting between the Oro Transport Service Cooperative
