BAYUGAN City--Congressional bet Democrito “Boyet” Plaza III of Agusan del Sur’s 1st District lambasted his younger brother Gov. Adolph Edward Plaza saying he never consulted them on his decision to no longer field a family member to the top posts of the province in the May 13 elections.
“Eddiebong (Gov. Plaza) wants that he should be followed,” disclosed Boyet at a press conference here adding that the governor never told their siblings that he will pick his proteges incumbent Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) member Santiago Cane, Jr. as his bet for governor while another graduating SP member Alfelito Bascug as congressional bet in the 1st District while Eddiebong will run the 2nd
District. BAGOINGED, Pikit, North Cotabato--A facility to “reform” drug dependents, built a few meters away from a mosque and guarded by members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF), the soon-to-bedecommissioned armed wing of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), has received around 150 “pasyente” (patients) since it opened on May 1, 2014, mostly turned over to them by parents. There are no medicines to treat the drug dependents here at the BIAF’s Eastern Mindanao Reformatory Center. But the warden, Yusoph Mohamad, is confident that after a minimum stay of six months or maximum of one year, the drug

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte--A family of four is now being laid inside a small house in Barangay Malingao, here, after they got an accident while fleeing their home on Thursday (February 7), for fear of being attacked after the plebiscite in Lanao del Norte. Jenalyn Bermejo, 27, was onboard a motorcycle with her two children -Chrisel Mae, 8 and Dave, 4, and her mother, Benida Bermejo, 60, when they got an accident in Barangay San Antonio.
