DAVAO CITY --The promulgation of judgment on the Ampatuan Massacre of 2009 has been set for Thursday, December 19, 2019, exactly 10 years and 26 days after the killing of 58 persons, 32 of them from the media, in Ampatuan, Maguindanao. Judge Jocelyn SolisReyes, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 221, in an order dated November 29 but circulated on Monday, set the promulgation at 9 a.m. at the Quezon City Jail-Annex in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig. “Pamaskong Handog para sa mga naulila ng

Doctor goes viral after showing his ‘bad’ attitude in public A DOCTOR went viral yesterday after he reportedly involved himself in a road rage with another driver along a busy street in Metro Manila. Government authorities has identified the doctor as Dr Tomas Joaquin Mendez, who was involved in a road rage in Metro Manila yesterday, shouting vindictives to the driver of an L300 Van. He accused the driver of cutting him of and nearly bumping him while he was

GENERAL SANTOS CITY -- The City Council has launched a legislative inquiry into the alleged anomalies in the implementation of the public transport moderniza-
tion program and the traffic and transport management system here. City Councilor Franklin Gacal Jr., chair of the council’s committee on transportation, said the move was based on a request
submitted last month by at least 10 transport groups led by GenSan Transportworkers Alliance (GTA), the local chapter of the National Confederation of Transportworkers Union (NCTU).
