3 suspects in Doc’s slay in Cagayan de Oro fall By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Three suspects, one of them confessed as the alleged trigger man, in the shooting to death of the director of a hospital here fall Friday morning in Balingoan, a coastal town of Misamis Oriental, 89 kilometers east of here. Valiente Macarayo, the town police chief of Balingoan, identified the suspects as Jomar Adlaw 30, Maramag, Marjun Cabog, 39, of Don Carlos, Joel Nacua, 37, farmer, of Lingayon, Valencia City, all of the province of Bukidnon. Macarayo said that the fourth suspect identified as Rene Dortosa of Balingoan, allegedly a former military man, is now the subject of police manhunt. According to Macarayo, Dortosa was the alleged middleman who hired the three suspects in consideration of P 150,000. As of today, only 40 percent of the water system here is sourced out of surface water,” Macasandig barangay kagawad Nixon Baban said. Baban is referring to the 120 million liters of water a day sourced out of Bubunawan river in Bukidnon by the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) which consists of 60 percent of the city’s water supply.
