THE Commission on Higher Education (Ched) - the governing body for tertiary learning institutions in the country - has recognized the proposed offering of PHINMA-Cagayan de Oro College, the Doctorate of Philosophy in Criminal Justice Education with specialization in Criminology. The approval was contained in a one-page document issued by Ched chairman Prospero de Vera and

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Six people were killed, 5 others were injured when an 18-wheeler trailer truck carrying a bulldozer, mowed people attending a vigil along the highway in Aplaya, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental Tuesday evening.
Killed were Lemuel Edurot, Hilardo Montecillo, Juvy Monticillo, Justine Pepito Lagno, 15, Welfredo Capillador, Jr., Erik Jaduma and unidentified person.
