Report migratory bird: DA tells poultry raisers By MARK FRANCISCO Correspondent

CAGAYAN de Oro City-The Department of Agriculture (DA) in Northern Mindanao yesterday urged the poultry raisers in Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon to immediately report any migratory bird activity in their respective farms. DA Regional Quarantine Officer Dale Franco Llentic said there are thousand large-and small-scale poultry farms in the two provinces that comprised the bulk of the poultry industry in Northern Mindanao. “I have met with management representatives of the poultry raisers and I have told them to especially look out for their poultry Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano has assured that the provincial government is addressing the reproted avian flu virus that farms which are located has affected poultry farms in some parts of Luzon.
