‘Sarah’ orders a security clampdown in Davao City DAVAO CITY– The military and police threw a security dragnet around Davao City as Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio ordered the law enforcers to craft a “holistic plan” to ensure the security and safety of the people in the city. Duterte issued the directive a day after the authorities foiled a bomb plot by alleged members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG). On Tuesday, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) tracked down a suspected terrorist. The suspect was killed in a shootout with the police operatives along Magtuod road in Maa, this city.
