MAGSAYSAY, Davao Del Sur – The Department of Health (DoH) XI, through the National Nutrition Council, has allocated PHP1.4 million to boost the Early Childhood Care a n d D e v e l o p m e nt (ECCD) program of this municipality. Magsaysay was chosen as one of the three local government units in the province to be the pilot areas of the ECCD/First 1000 Days project. The two other areas are Digos City and Hagonoy. 15 students send to China for exchange program in China DAVAO CITY – At least 15 students from Davao City will be sent to Nanning, China next year in line with the sisterhood agreement of the two cities, Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio said Tuesday.

The mayor said they hope to seal the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the educational exchange program by August. The students will be on full scholarship in any school in Nanning. The
