Pr e si de n t Ro drigo Duterte has laid out the direction of his administration in a bid to realize its campaign pledges during the last election tackling issues such as federalism, criminality, corruption and illegal drugs. “Magpatawag kami ng partido , because we would like to announce the policies that could be adopted by PDP and to be implemented sa gobyerno where -- it’s the ruling group,” President Duterte said during a joint press conference with Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez in Malacañan. Davao City cites need for 3 more overpasses DAVAO CITY -- The City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) wants three more overpasses in areas where there are heavy volume of pedestrians. Although they identified more than three areas, CTTOMO chief Dionisio Abude said they are only considering two of the areas in the north and one in the south as top priorities. “We have proposed several new overpasses especially along the Ateneo-Matina area, where there is an increased volume of people crossing the streets,” Abude said.
