Cops arrest man with P2.3m of alleged shabu By GERRY LEE GORIT Correspondent

CAGAYAN de Oro City--A person was arrested with more than half a kilo of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of about P2.3 million in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Divisoria police late.

Inspector Jessie Palencia, deputy station commander of the Divisoria police, said the suspect, Sobair Mimbalawag was caught red-handed with the illegal substance during a buy-bust operation in his house in Barangay Balulang late Wednesday afternoon. Taken from Mimbalawag’s possession were 10 sachets of alleged

Authorities arrested nine suspects and seized around P220,000 worth of shabu in the Caraga region following orders from the main headquarters to resume the war on illegal drugs. Caraga Police Director Chief Supt. Rolando Felix said that police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives conducted the

anti-illegal drug operation and seized 23 sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects. Arrested during a joint operation on Tuesday dawn in Barangay Doongan were Jabbar Dangcogan, 23, Abdulkhayr Dancogan, 45, and Farhan Pantao, 19, all residents of Barangay Sandoc in Marawi City.
