he Philippines’ Nightingale Lani Misalucha will do the Cagayan de Oro stopover of her 2014 Philippine Tour this November 8, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at Limketkai Atrium.

sensation Juan Karlos Labajo.

Lani Misalucha (born August 03, 1969 in Manila, Philippines) is a singer from the Philippines currently based in Las Vegas, where she now resides. She held shows at the Flamingo Las Vegas with the veteran Hawaiian variety troupe Society of Seven - SOS. Dubbed Asia's Nightingale, she

performs pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, and operatic arias.

Since arriving in Las Vegas in 2004, Misalucha has been called "New Siren of the Strip." In March 2008, Misalucha was voted "Best Singer" (staff pick) in the "27th Annual Best of Las Vegas" poll conducted on 8,000 respondents by the Las Vegas Review Journal. This put her

It was started by celebrity photographers Jeremy Cowart and Kyle Chowning in 2008 to empower co-photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists to use their skills, tools and expertise to give back to their local community.

Each December, photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists all around the world will find people in need, take their picture, print their picture and then deliver it free of charge. These portraits aren’t for a portfolio, website or sale.

esidents of SM-BDO Gawad Kalinga Village in barangay Canitoan, this city who are all Sendong survivors will instantaneously transform like professional models complete with makeup as they have their pictures given by professional photographers who are all volunteers.

That’s what Help-Portrait is all about.

Come December 17, 2014 will be the fourth year of Help-Portrait in Cagayan

It’s about giving people who otherwise couldn’t afford photography, a chance to capture a moment, a memory and a whole lot more.

Past editions of Help-Portrait CDO saw indigents, mothers and orphanage residents as beneficiaries. This year, Help-Portrait CDO has partnered with SM City Cagayan de Oro in realizing the portraiture dreams of SM-BDO Gawad Kalinga Village.
