SUZU Cagayan de Oro bagged the prestigious 2014 Dealer of the Year for three years in a row plus another three years before that.

For this year, Isuzu Philippines awarded Isuzu Iloilo as first runnerup and Isuzu Davao as second runner-up with Sales Executive of the Year Emelia Alfonso coming from Isuzu Alabang. Best in Sales Operations was awarded to Isuzu Davao, Best in Parts Operations Isuzu Mani l a, B est in S er v ice Operations Isuzu Iloilo and Best in Customer Service Operations Isuzu Cabanatuan. “But overall, the management has decided to award to us as Isuzu Dealer of the Year because of the best practices that we have excelled throug h the years,” a beaming George Ongchua, assistant manager, told this writer. There were 21 dealers nationwide which were evaluated by Isuzu Philippines in the yearly search. Criteria for judging are based on a c h e c k l i s t for mu l at e d by management as well as feedbacks coming from Isuzu customers. In e a c h s e r v i c e , p a r t s a n d customer service transaction, Isuzu Philippines gives its customers fe e d b a c k for ms . A n d i n e a c h feedback form, Isuzu Cagayan de Oro has consistently ranked number one. So what is their secret recipe to their laurels? “There’s no secret really. We have formulated a policy of discipline within our ranks coupled with a

joyous working environment. In that way, our employees are really motivated to give the best they can to our clients. That is why our clients have consistently come to us. Some of them are even from the succeeding generation already,” Ongchua said. Even the publisher of BWM Group has a testimonial on this. “ W h e n I f i r s t w e nt t o t h e showroom of Isuzu a couple of years back, the staff readily entertained me even if I had no inclination to buy a car yet at the time. I did not receive the same cordiality with some dealers here. That’s why when it was my time to buy a new car, I immediately went with Isuzu. Customer service is important for lasting impressions. It creates a chain effect,” Dante Sudaria said. Sudaria currently owns an Isuzu D-MAX.
