SUZU Cagayan de Oro bagged the prestigious 2014 Dealer of the Year for three years in a row plus another three years before that.
For this year, Isuzu Philippines awarded Isuzu Iloilo as first runnerup and Isuzu Davao as second runner-up with Sales Executive of the Year Emelia Alfonso coming from Isuzu Alabang. Best in Sales Operations was awarded to Isuzu Davao, Best in Parts Operations Isuzu Mani l a, B est in S er v ice Operations Isuzu Iloilo and Best in Customer Service Operations Isuzu Cabanatuan. “But overall, the management has decided to award to us as Isuzu Dealer of the Year because of the best practices that we have excelled throug h the years,” a beaming George Ongchua, assistant manager, told this writer. There were 21 dealers nationwide which were evaluated by Isuzu Philippines in the yearly search. Criteria for judging are based on a c h e c k l i s t for mu l at e d by management as well as feedbacks coming from Isuzu customers. In e a c h s e r v i c e , p a r t s a n d customer service transaction, Isuzu Philippines gives its customers fe e d b a c k for ms . A n d i n e a c h feedback form, Isuzu Cagayan de Oro has consistently ranked number one. So what is their secret recipe to their laurels? “There’s no secret really. We have formulated a policy of discipline within our ranks coupled with a
joyous working environment. In that way, our employees are really motivated to give the best they can to our clients. That is why our clients have consistently come to us. Some of them are even from the succeeding generation already,” Ongchua said. Even the publisher of BWM Group has a testimonial on this. “ W h e n I f i r s t w e nt t o t h e showroom of Isuzu a couple of years back, the staff readily entertained me even if I had no inclination to buy a car yet at the time. I did not receive the same cordiality with some dealers here. That’s why when it was my time to buy a new car, I immediately went with Isuzu. Customer service is important for lasting impressions. It creates a chain effect,” Dante Sudaria said. Sudaria currently owns an Isuzu D-MAX. NA BACKSTAB KA NA BA? Ikaw ba ay nabiktima na nang mga taong imbis na prangkahin ka eh, sa iba nalang inilalabas ang sama ng loob? Kapag tinanong mo, ang sagot sa iyo: “Wala” ang sagot, pero alam na pala ng buong klase o opisina? O kaya, “Hindi ako galit, tapos na yun” pero pagtalikod, ang dami dami ng pinagkakalat tungkol sa inyo? BACKSTABBING ang tawag diyan. May ibang tao na PINAPAGANDA pa ang pag backstab by telling others na concern siya sa iyo, pagkatapos kung ano-anong ‘sing bitter ng ampalaya ang lumalabas sa bibig nila. Halimbawa nito ay sa mga magkaka-opisina. Napromote ka sa office or you were able to achieve a certain award and was recognized for your effort. Heto na; may mga lumalapit sa iyo at ito ang dialog, “Wag mo na pansinin mga yun, basta ako I’m happy for you!” “Sus, inggit lang mga yan!” “Eh papano sila hindi mapromote-promote.” Akala mo kaibigan mo at nagmamalasakit, pero hindi mo alam, ito naman ang press release niya sa iba. “Oo nga yumabang nga yan, di naman siya dating ganyan” “Ako dapat yan eh, eh wala, sipsip eh” “Lumaki na ulo eh” In this story itself, makikita mo na yung epekto ng backstabbing. IT DESTROYS SOMEONE’S LIFE instead of helping him/her change for the better. Kung ikaw ay naging biktima ng back stabbing, instead na mainis ka ng
tuluyan at masira ang araw mo. Bakit hindi na lang tignan at unawain ang mga dahilan kung bakit ganito ang ugali ng ibang tao? Why do people backstab? LOW SELF ESTEEM Mababa ang kanilang tingin sa kanilang sarili. Gumagawa sila ng paraan to get the attention of others wherein sila ang nasa limelight, at sila nag mapapansin. SELF-CENTERED Iniisip lang naman nila ang kanilang sarili at kung paano ka makakakuha ng mga kakampi. Hindi nila iniisip ang magiging epekto nito sa buhay ng ibang tao. All they care about is what they feel rather than what others feel. ENVY Naiingit sila sa nakamit ng iba. Nalulungkot sila para sa kanilang sarili at hindi sila nagiging masaya para sa iba. Yung feeling bang hindi sila makatulog dahil busy silang isipin na bakit siya ang nabibigyan ng break, mas magaling at masipag ako sa kanya. So now you know the reasons why some people backstab. I hope this will serve as a lesson for us not to also fall in the trap of backstabbing. Minsan kasi, hindi natin napapansin, na mismo pumapasok na rin tayo sa area ng backstabbing. Minsan ang dating ay CONCERN LANG TAYO kaya tayo may comment sa iba. But before we say anything next time; check your heart kung bakit mo sinasabi yan. Ikaw ba talaga ay concern or gusto mo lang siraaan ang iba. Kung tunay tayong concern: We should be concern enough to tell the person directly and privately. If you don’t do it that way, kapatid, you are already guilty of backstabbing. I h op e t h i s s h or t blog about backstabbing will enlighten you, give you a better and honest perspective, kung concern lang ba tayo or nagbabackstab na tayo. THINK.REFLECT. I do not know what kind of arrow Cupid had on that bright yet dark Sunday morning when I hurriedly went to the bus station without his permission where I gained nothing! I looked at the faces of the passengers but none of them I was looking for. I asked him where he was but he was already on the way of his trip. So I went home with a shattered heart. But suddenly I received a text message: “Where are you? I will wait here so that we can talk.” L-O-V-E.. You are like a butterfly that goes out for a while and still find the flower that can make someone smile. Yes, patience and understanding is always the key to a steadfast relationship. Valentine’s Day is always seasons in the Philippines yet many are still praying to see MR. and MS.RIGHT. Are you one of them? You are not alone! So be patient … And those who doesn’t see yet of what really L-O-V-E is, simply love… and if you get hurt, love again than not to love at all. To those in a relationship, “BUS-t

Miscommunication PICTURE this. Once upon a time (January 30 to be exact at around 10 p.m.), a young woman we’ll now call as Elizabeth went up to a fastfood counter and asked the receptionist, “Miss, nag-out na si May? Nagsabot man gud mi diri 10 p.m. kay karon raw siya na time mag-out.” The receptionist replied, “Hala nag-out na ra ba.” Her emotion starting to fill with rage, Elizabeth took out her cellphone and dialed May’s number. The number rang but there was no answer. Now visibly furious, Elizabeth flagged down a cab, went uptown towards a party and texted May, “Naa ra nimo kung moapas ka.
Basta nibiya nako sa (insert name of fastfood joint) kay maayo natong sabot unya naguna-una na man diay ka og uli.” Upon reaching the party venue, Elizabeth received a reply from May: “Hala oy, naa pa man ko diri. Naa ra ko sa locker oi. Wait dira sa (insert name of party venue). Anha na ko.” Miscommunication Number One. By this time, a drizzle has formed at the Divisoria fastfood joint. May was with her boyfriend on a parked motorcycle. “Nag-ulan man hon, pag-taxi na lang. Apas lang ko sa motor.” So May went to the party venue all by herself. But upon reaching
