AGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A suspected drug courier is now facing charges for alleged possession of illegal drugs estimated to be worth P500,000 after he was arrested by agents of the Phil. Drug Enforcement Agency-10 (PDEA-10) at the seaport in Barangay Macabalan, this city. According to PDEA, the suspect, identified as Jan Erik Montejo, 29, of Barangay Patag here, yielded about 100 grams of illegal substances believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” on Monday night. PDEA-10 said its K9 unit was conducting surprise random check at the port where the suspect was caught.
