DavOcc holds 1st prov’l anti-illegal drug summit MALITA, Davao Occidental – Governor Claude P. Bautista initiated on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, the 1st Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Summit, in a bid to support Pres. Duterte’s war against illegal drugs. Together with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Bautista led all barangay captains of the 105 barangays and the Municipal Mayors of the five municipalities in the province, who attended the summit held in Malita town. The main objective of the activity was to orient the barangay captains on their important role in fighting illegal drugs through reorganization and strengthening of Barangay Anti-Illegal Drug Council (BADAC) and the Municipal Anti-Illegal Drug Council (MADAC). The summit also integrated the newly-concep-
