RDC-X consults LGUs on priorities Presents RDP guidelines and Ambisyon Natin 2040
RDC-X Chairperson and Bukidnon Governor Jose Maria R. Zubiri, Jr. pushed for the bottom up process in the formulation of the Regional Development Plan, 2017-2022 by conducting consultations with the provinces and highly-urbanized cities in the region. This is to ensure wider participation of concerned stakeholders at the local level, ensure ownership, and enlist commitment and support of the LGUs in the entire planning process. DOLE-10 turns over P1.5M BUB project to Oroquieta associations ORO QUIETA CIT Y -The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Misamis Occidental released P1.5M check to fund livelihood projects of various informal sector under the Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB) in November this year in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental. City Vice Mayor Lemuel Acosta joined the beneficiaries, as well as the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) staff and some city councilors who were also present during the event.
Mis. Occ. PFO Head Leonardo G. Rodrigo said that DOLE-X Regional Director Raymundo G. Agravante turned-over the checks worth (1) P500,000 to 26 beneficiaries of the Rice trading and Skills Training of Oroquieta City Differently-abled Persons Inc.; (2) P500,000 for the Bamboocraft Livelihood Project of Oroquieta City Bamboocraft Producers Association with 50 recipients; and to the (3) 120 members of Banana (Cardava) Production under Coco Plantation of Com-

DA employees association holds 11th nat’l confab in Davao City. The Department of Agriculture Employee Association (DAEA) is currently holding its three-day 11th national convention in Park Inn by Radisson in Davao City. Yesterday, Dec. 15, the election of officers of DAEA was held with Engr. Isabelita Buduan from Davao City DA office elected as the new president. Also elected were Jose Manquera (from Bureau of Soil and Water Management Manila) as vice president for Luzon, Jonie Natividad (Iloilo City, Region 6) as VP for Visayas, Lourdes Rudinal (Cagayan de Oro City, Region 10) as VP for Mindanao, John Gamboa (Butuan City, Region 13) as secretary general, Rosalinda Alonzozara (Region IV) as treasurer, Alma Israel (Region XI, Davao City) as deputy secretary general. They were sworn in by Atty. Leo Leuterio, the city agriculturist, in behalf of Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio. The 11th DEA national convention has for its theme, “DEA, kaagapay sa pagbabago tungo sa mura, sapat at ligtas na pagkain para sa Sambayanang Pilipino”.
