IT’s four years since tropical storm Sendong struck Cagayan de Oro City but still 6,000 families are waiting to be relocated. During the fourth year commemoration of Sendong held Tuesday morning (December 15) at Gaston Park in Cagayan de Oro City, Aksyon sa Kahandaan sa Kalamidad at Klima (Akma) CDO secretariat head Nestor Banuag
said that the families are temporarily living with their relatives but they are entitled to the homes because they are Sendong victims. Akma CDO is a federation of almost 40 homeowners associations in what used to be gated subdivisions that were washed out by Sendong.
