Hard-hit areas in Leyte to get P5m from Oro govt

HE city government of Cagayan de Oro has formally turned over the amount of P5 million to the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Region 10 (DSWD-10) as financial assistance to the victims of super typhoon “Yolanda” in the province of Leyte. Manuel Borres, DSWD10 division chief for administration and support services, official received the donation in the form of check––in behalf of the victims of Yolanda––from City Social Welfare Department (CSWD) Officer Teddy Sabugaa and Atty. Beda Joy Elot, the city accountant. “The horrific typhoon Yolanda has brought havoc to the Visayas and some parts of Luzon and Mind-
