THE 60-year-old Paulino Soriano Jr. said that he likes farming tobacco leaf because his production expenses is much lower but his income is much, much higher com-
pared with farming other cash crops. Aside from tobacco, Soriano is also cultivating corn/maize. His income from a hectare of corn/ maize is PhP50,000 but his expenses is PhP25,000. He said his income from tobacco is way, way higher
