Cops seize marijuana in buy-bust By GERRY LEE GORIT Correspondent

CAGAYAN de Oro City-Policemen belonging to the Agora police precinct collared an alleged peddler of marijuana in Barangay Lapasan on Wednesday night.

Chief Insp. Ernesto Niebito Morga Daing, head of the Agora police precinct, identified the suspect as a certain Romy Campo Redondo, a resident of Bayugan 1 in Agusan del Sur. Daing said Redondo was arrested during a drug buybust operation conducted

in Barangay Lapasan at around 9:40 in the evening on June 3. Confiscated from Redondo, said Daing, were three bundles of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated market value of P9,000.

THE resolution in the House of Representatives to amend the economic provisions of the Constitution, which its approval in the second reading was called “historic” by House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, is a step backward for the Philippines, according to research group IBON.
