AFP still waiting for orders WITH Christmas just eight days away, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Brig. Gen. Domingo Tutaan, Jr. on Tuesday announced that the military is still waiting orders on the declaration of suspension of military offensive (SOMO) against separatist rebels. He added they were still waiting words from Malacanang regarding the SOMO. “We are waiting for the decision on the matter but once it arrives, we will definitely comply with it,” Tutaan stressed. The AFP spokesperson said there were no standard dates regarding the declaration of SOMO although for the past three years, December 16 seemed to be the declaration date. MALAYBALAY City––The Bukidnon provincial board approved two supplemental budgets today, including allotment of a total of P101.3 million for extra cash gifts or “performance enhancement incentives (PEI).” But there is still no official document yet showing how much of the PEI allotment will be released to the provincial government’s 1,423 regular employees, including 27 department

heads, and 840 casual employees. The board allocated P45 million of the P68.6 million Supplemental Budget No. 5 of the Economic Enterprise for the PEI. It also allocated P56.3 million of the P125.8 million Supplemental Budget No. 6 of the General Fund for PEI. About P62.7 million of SB No. 05 is sourced from “subside from general fund”
