The senator facilitated the return to the country of Manicad, who was physically abused and even sent to jail by her employer in Saudi Arabia. The distressed OFW arrived in the country Tuesday afternoon. Villar, through the VillarSocial Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (SIPAG), provided her plane ticket and gave her P10,000 financial assistance.
