Police uproot 11 marijuana hills in Misor town By GERRY LEE GORIT, Correspondent

CAGAYAN de Oro City––A total of 11 marijuana hills have been uprooted by the police this week in a barangay in Opol, Misamis Oriental. Municipal police station chief Sr. Insp. Alwin T. Baclao said they uprooted the marijuana plants in barangay Bagocboc. Baclao said five hills were uprooted in one area and six hills including one potted plant in another area on the same barangay. He added that the police raided the areas on the strength of a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 18. See uproot, page 11

BUTUAN City––Agusan del Norte First District Rep. Lawrence Lemuel Fortun said Butuan was already known to Asian countries even before Ferdinand
