Eagles NMR-1, Rotary Club CDO support Special Games 2017 C

AGAYAN DE ORO CITY - The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) NMR1 and Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro provided snacks to 438 athletes in the whole-day Cagayan de Oro Division Special Games held last Monday at Misamis Oriental Integrated Sports Complex here.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) NMR1 were led by Governor Anjun Gomez while the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro was led by president Antonio Fernandez. The athletes came from 18 public

elementary and six secondary schools participated during the event. There were also participants from the private sector. According to Division SPED coordinator Rose Mary Sudaria, there were support/PAGE 7

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro has once again shepherded 29 junior high students from various secondary schools here to act as mayor, vice mayor, councillors and department heads with their real life counterparts. For one week starting September 25, the junior high students busied themselves immersing in the various functions of the local government unit (LGU). Prior to the event, these students attended

the New Generation forum at Philtown Hotel with the topic on human trafficking. Panelists in the forum this year were Senior Insp. Nerfe Daganato, chief of the Regional Women and Children Protection Desk; Chief Insp. Ignacio Gamba III, regional chief of the Anti-Cybercrime Group; Sis. Diana Madura of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro Women Ministry; Eleony Monding of Tisaka; and Honey Tulang of the City Social Welfare and Development officials/PAGE 7
