oung, dashing, intellectual and debonaire Mark Kenny Macrohon hails from Zamboanga City and is of Chinese and Spanish descent. His elementary school years were spent at a public school in the community where his family is from. He finished his high school and college education at Ateneo de Zamboanga University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.

His journey to success begins at age 17 when in the summer of 2004, he travelled to Northern Illinois University, Illinois, USA as an exchange scholar from Mindanao. This was under the Philippine Youth Leadership Program funded by the US State Department. It was an intercultural and inter-faith exchange program for young people from Southern Philippines. “It was an enriching experience. It opened my eyes to the world
