CDO ICT Pioneer one of 23 International Fellows for Eisenhower Fellowship

ne of Cagayan de Oro’s ICT Pioneers has been selected as one of the two Filipino delegates to the Eisenhower Fellowship in the United States.
Stephanie Picardal Caragos, President and CEO of Syntactics, Inc., set up the trailblazing BPO firm in 2000 and is also one of the founders of the Cagayan de Oro ICT Council, of which she is a former chair. “I want to learn and find ways how to further improve our IT workforce and know what are the requirements in quality and skill and processes in our industry,” Ms.
Caragos said. “On my part, I want to learn more from the field of IT, IT training and education, leadership and management.” A passionate advocate for the tech sector as a transformative economic tool, Ms. Caragos uses IT mentoring and business development to deliver a higher standard of living to college graduates from low income Mindanao families. Her efforts have helped make Mindanao
a tech center, increase the pool of IT talent, and enhance prosperity and quality of life. Ms. Caragos set up her own start up with Elite Business Systems (EBS) Accounting Software Solutions which later evolved into a new corporation as Syntactics, Inc in 2006. She later founded LetIThelp.org, a social enterprise that Stephanie P. Caragos pairs local tech college graduates with Syntactics career mentors.
