Iligan’s Pizzarella now in CDO Story by MARK FRANCISCO | Photos by ERCEL MAANDIG
ILIGAN’S hometown pride Pizzarella has recently opened an outlet in Cagayan de Oro City, in particular along Corrales Avenue. Pizzarella Bistro was opened five years ago in Iligan City. “The business started with a dream. We made that dream into a reality. We poured our heart and soul to the making of the delicious savory pizza that we have now come to love and enjoy,” narrated Remi Portado, founder of Pizzarella. Madcow, their spiciest variant, became an instant hit even to this day and Pizzarella decided to make it its flagship dish. Other variants on the menu are Fino, Carnosa, Tacorella, Burgerella, Burro, BoraBora, Aglio and Spinto. Pizzarella provides diners with finely crafted pizzas using the freshest ingredients from local vendors. The resulting savory pizzas are inspired by Italian and Filipino recipes as well as from their very own kitchen recipes. The ambience of the place is rustic-inspired yet with contemporary cozy sensitivity. pizzarella/PAGE 7
