Business As Usual as Cagayan de Oro celebrates 3rd Himugso Festival

agayan de Oro celebrates its 3rd HIMUGSO Festival this month with the tagline “Business As Usual Cagayan de Oro”.

During the City Tourism Council’s special meeting held June 8 at the new Hugo Skye Lounge in Barangay Indahag, the adverse effects of the ongoing conflict in Marawi City and the subsequent declaration of martial law in Mindanao were discussed. To counter the negative perception about the city’s safety and security, the CTC is organizing a multi-sectoral task force to launch a multi-media, multi-platform public re-

NMR4 Governor Nelson Alonto-Sarapuddin inducts 18 new members of the Metro Cagayan Eagles Club.

THE Metro Cagayan Eagles Club led by president Michael Joe Montecillo celebrated its sixth anniversary last Saturday with a Mass, motorcade, tree caring (of the trees planted two years ago) and a fellowship. During the fellowship held at Grand Caprice in Cagayan de Oro City, NMR4 Governor Nelson AlontoSarapuddin inducted 18 new members of Metro Cagayan Eagles Club. In his talk, Sarapuddin said that “Metro Cagayan Eagles

Club has already reached the pinnacle towards success. And yet we continue to soar high.” According to Montecillo, Metro Cagayan Eagles Club currently has more than 100 active members. It was chartered in 2011 with Sarapuddin himself as charter president before he was catapulted into his post as charter governor in 2016.
