Reduce, Reuse & Recycle with Centrio Mall’s Recyclables Fair

I

t’s all systems go for Ayala Centrio Mall’s Recyclables Fair at 10:00 o’clock in the morning on Sunday, March 2 at Cagayan de Oro’s premiere shopping mall. A joint project of Ayala Centrio Mall which is managed by Cagayan de Oro Gateway Corporation and Ayala Property Management Corporation (APMC), the Recyclables Fair will be held every last Sunday of each month from 10AM to 5PM to allow mall goers the opportunity to sell or dispose of their recyclable wastes. “The rationale for this project is sustainability,” said Eric Emmanuel F. Gabiana, Property Manager, of Centrio Mall. Our tagline is ‘The Power to Save Tomorrow Today: REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE.” Mall goers and mall tenants can simply go the Recyclables Fair booth to dispose or sell items like used lead acid batteries; busted or old electronic or electrical appliances; paper wastes (Used paper, old newspapers, cartons, magazines, obsolete books and posters); plastic and metal wastes (e.g., bottles, containers, sando bags, plastic furniture, aluminum cans, tin cans and other metals); obsolete computer monitors, CPUs and peripherals; and used ink and toner printer cartridges. Used tarpaulins and streamers; used dry cell batteries, mobile phones, batteries and chargers; polystyrene packaging, and tetra pack cartons are for proper disposal only.
