CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno has proposed a P3.8 billion budget for the year 2015 in a bid to implement more projects to deodorize an administra-

tion that smells of alleged questionable transactions, City Hall officials said on Monday. Moreno said that he would push for the approval of the proposed P 3.8 billion budget so that his administration could implement

projects that would benefit the city’s “poor.” Opposition Councilor Prexy Elipe, who chairs the city council’s powerful finance committee, said he would wait the submission of the proposed 2015 budget. Elipe, however, cau-

tioned Moreno on the proposed budget, saying the figures should be realistic as against the city’s revenue collection in 2014. The City Mayor could submit a budget proposal of his whims provided that See needle, page 11

MindaViews LeBron dethroned By H. Marcos C. Mordeno

MALAYBALAY City–– LeBron James had tried to rally the Miami Heat from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals by saying they can remake history in Game 5 today. He knew it was a tall order.
