THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Region 10 (DENR-10) and the state-run Philippine Information Agency (PIA)

launched on July 22 its Climate Change Advocacy campaign in one of the hotels in Cagayan de Oro City. Carrying the theme “Nagbabago na ang panahon, panahon na para magbago,” the campaign was aimed at increasing the public awareness

on the ill effects of climate change. Regional Director Thelma B. Oliver of PIA-Northern Mindanao said advocating climate change is also recognizing its serious impact on environment. See drive, page 11
