Briefly Youth vs Covid PRESIDENTIAL Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar has sought the help of youth leaders in Northern Mindanao in helping the communities disseminate correct information and awareness on the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Andanar, who also heads the Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security for Region 10 (Cords-10), underscored Wednesday the role of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) or youth council in every barangay in helping educate their communities on the pandemic to ensure compliance with health protocols and prevent the spread of Covid-19. “I want Region 10 to be the best region in fighting Covid-19. I want Region 10 to become number one in the fight against Covid-19. I will do my best to meet you because the majority of the population belongs to the youth and we need to protect our youth from Covid-19,” Andanar said during Wednesday's online meeting with the SK leaders in the city.
