More contact tracers THE Region 10 Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (RIATFEID-10) announced Friday that it has hired additional contact tracers and put up more isolation units in the city to preempt the possible rise of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the region. Yvette Tolentino-Sunga, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) assistant director for Region 10, said three more isolation facilities will be established in Cagayan de Oro to respond to the spike in Covid-19 infections. "This was based on the proposal made by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to its Central Office, that there's a need for three isolation facilities based on the report of the Department of Health (DOH), that the city lacked such facilities," Tolentino-Sunga said during the RIATF-EID-10 press conference here.
