Briefly Economy grows 6.2% THE Philippine economy expanded by 6.2 percent in July to September period this year after two quarters of deceleration, making it still one of Asia’s fastest, the government reported Thursday.

In a press briefing, Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia said the Philippines likely ranked second behind Vietnam’s 7.3 percent but higher than China’s 6 percent during the period.

“The stronger growth in public spending in the third quarter contributed significantly to our third-quarter performance,” Pernia said.

“Government is committed to speeding up the implementation of its programs and projects that were affected by the budget impasse and the election ban earlier this year.”

OTABATO City -- The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is the island’s top region in terms of good governance, with 28 of its local government units given the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Award by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The winners were given their awards by the DILG during ceremonies at the Manila Hotel Tuesday.

Of the country’s 17 regions, BARMM is fifth overall. Only three in Mindanao made it to the top 10: Region X is sixth with 23 SGLGs, and Region XIII (Caraga) is eighth with 19 awards.

Gwangyang exchanges MUTUAL exchanges between the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Gwangyang in South Korea will take place soon.

The City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy enacted an ordinance authorizing Mayor Oscar Moreno to enter into and sign the Memorandum of Understanding for substantial exchanges with Gwangyang, which is a sister city.

In his endorsement, Mayor Moreno said the collaboration further enhances the policy of the city to promote sisterhood with other local government units here and abroad which have been determined to be beneficial in the delivery of services to its constituents.

UP Mindanao needs P12.1-B to fund 5-year dev't plans

AVAO City -- The University of the Philippines in Mindanao (UP Mindanao) will embark on expansion programs that will need some P12.1 billion funding, an official said on Wednesday.

In a press briefing here, UP Mindanao Chancellor Larry Digal said the expansion project within the next five years would include big ticket projects as they envisioned to make the university the

most complete integrated campus.

Digal said among the projects that would need the biggest funding is on infrastructure development for building UP Mindanao into a Green University Town.

The 25-year-old university still has to develop the rest of the 204 hectares where only 20 percent of the area is utilized, he said.

"Specifically, it seeks to transform the University as a model campus for

the adoption of green initiatives by modernizing its existing infrastructure and facilities and retrofit them with green technologies and lessen its reliance on the energy grid by pursuing aggressive use of renewable energy sources for campus electrification," he said.

He also said it seeks to provide world-class infrastructure as a cultural, athletic, and tourism hub for the City of Davao and the island of Mindanao.

The Campus Master Development Plan (CMDP) of UP Mindanao is to develop the campus into a green university town that embraces the sustainability of Mindanao's heritage and biodiversity in its environs through innovative sustainable systems and technologies.

Meanwhile, he said they are looking to come up with a Mindanao Sports Development Program where a College of Human Kinetics will be part for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

"A non-degree sports training program in partnership with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will be offered. The unique Botanical Garden will

showcase not only biodiversity but will also feature the 11 tribes in the city," he said.

Other prospective features are the Cultural Center, the Mindanao Studies Program Center and Museum, Science and

Ecology Park.

On the other hand, Digal said the plans and programs will be thoroughly discussed during the holding of the Regional Alumni Institute (RAI) on November 23 to 24. (PNA)

3 hurt as multipurpose hall collapses in CDO

THREE persons were hurt when a P5.6-million multipurpose building collapsed in Barangay Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City late Tuesday afternoon, officials said Wednesday (Nov. 6).

Officials identified the injured victims as

Arjel Gallan, 22; Ronnie Miñoza, 26; and Wilson Berja, 27, all construction workers from Salay town, Misamis Oriental.

Lope Matildo, Bonbon village councilor and the acting barangay chairman, said he received report that the structure, which is still under construction, has caved in around 5 p.m.

Matildo said it appeared that the steel bars used were not sturdy enough and gave way when workers brought in about 105 galvanized iron sheets to the top portion of the structure to be installed as the building’s roofing.

No wonder studies show that most people do not do their best at their work or job. It’s also why many people throw away their hard-earned money on foolish gambling like lotteries. They think they have a chance to hit the big jackpot and never have to work again! Then they’ll be free to do nothing the rest of their life. But someone said, “The problem with doing nothing is that you never know when you’re finished!”

However, when it comes to our weekends, not many people say: “Too bad! I have to take the weekend off from work.” You see, it’s all

To try to explain the gap between what people say and how much they’re willing to p ay, and I obs er ve d consumers’ choices in the supermarkets anywhere.

products, though the study found somewhat higher percentages among highly educated and higher income consumers. The sustainable products were, by and large, between 5% and 7% more expensive.

Given customer ambivalence toward paying for green products, companies engage in token measures that insulate them from reputational damage and the unwanted attention of environmental groups, which could lead to NGO and media complaints or consumer boycotts and lost sales.

B e yond t hat, brands will reclassify economically sensible cost-cutting

initiatives, such as energy savings, as sustainability initiatives.

One good way to green hotels is to restrict hotels’ use of energy-thirsty air conditioning. Another is to charge guests for not reusing towels rather than imploring them to reuse these items.

Granted, a slogan that states “Our hotel will not keep rooms cooler than 75 degrees in the summer and no warmer than 65 d e g re e s i n t he w i nte r” may not increase hotels’ market share. Even the replacement of the small shampoo bottles with bulk dispensers is leading to consumers’ apprehension.

Removing mini-shampoos from hotel rooms won't save the environment

PROF. ENRIQUE SORIANO There are many proverbs to describe the challenges faced by family businesses in building wealth and leaving a lasting legacy. The Chinese say “wealth never survives three generations,” while the Italians say “from the stables to the stars and back to the stables.” Their languages may vary, but the behavior offers a lot of parallelism. On a positive note, there is also a Chinese proverb stating that one has to govern his family as you would cook a small fish – very gently.

And the saying highlights one thing...the need for leaders to focus on "people and intellectual assets." We refer to these assets as talent within the family that can help preserve wealth and promote stewardship.

One good example that leaders must do is to eliminate next generation entitlement like not spoiling children who will be future successors of the business.

The key is to teach them the value of money and encourage them to study hard and prepare themselves for future leadership roles.

The first generation founds the company and has the drive and the dedication to move it forward. The second generation rides that wave. The third generation wants to do their own thing. They’ve seen Broadway; they’ve had all the advantages.”

“Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.” This classic quote

by George Orwell can apply in family businesses as well as life. But traditional family businesses make the mistake of focusing on a single family unit and neglect a very crucial transition to a multi-generational and extended family phase. What would happen if your family

prepared a plan for the next four or five generations?

Should it be better if you think way beyond your generation?

A couple of years ago, I initiated a plan for a family business based in Singapore where the patriarch at 72 specifically requested that I help the family craft a family plan spanning 30 years! The year after, a colleague based in Hong Kong requested me to collaborate with him in preparing a family growth plan covering 50 years! I admire remarkable leaders that think beyond their lifetimes!

The good times and the bad times WE CANNOT deny that in our life we will always have some good times and some bad times. We just have to make sure that the good times are really good and the bad times are really bad, because it can happen that what we consider to be good times are actually bad for us, and what we consider to be bad times are actually good for us.

The secret in knowing what are truly good times and bad times is to refer them always to God who gives us the ultimate standard of what is good and bad, what is right and wrong.

Without him, we would be out on a limb, exposing ourselves to the possibility of creating a merely subjective understanding of things that has nothing to do with the objective reality. We can be living in a fantasy world, in a bubble.

We know, of course, that with God, everything will work out for the good. (cfr. Rom 8, 28) He can

derive good even from evil.

He can write straight with crooked lines. We should ne ver det ach ours elves f rom h i m , s i n c e h e i s actually everything to us.

It is only with him that we can properly handle all the predicaments, problems, difficulties and trials in our life.

But for all that, we cannot deny that there truly are bad times that will make us suffer greatly. God’s goodness and his wise, allpowerful providence do not exempt us from these painful bad times which actually are caused by our sins.

But he has shown us, through Christ in the Holy Spirit, how to deal with them such that these bad times can lead us to him instead of away from him.

He has shown us how to derive good from the evil of the bad times.

And again, the secret is to look at the example of Christ, the way, the truth and

the life for us. He suffered all the consequences of our sins that are the main cause of our suffering here on earth. And in so doing, he is showing us how to deal with all the negative things in our life. With Christ all the pain and suffering that we will experience in this life will be converted into expressions of love for God and for others. There can be no better bargain than this!

Thus, to be realistic in this life, we should not be naïve as to think that there will come a time here in this life when we can be freed from all suffering and pain. We have to expect them always. They are an unavoidable part of our earthly life. We should just prepare ourselves for them, knowing exactly what to do.

It might be a good idea to make it a habit to regularly meditate on the passion, death and resurrection of Christ, since it is from there where we can derive the

Ayala group aids relief efforts in quake-hit Mindanao

T

HE Ayala group and its foundation, Ayala Foundation (AFI), lead the group’s relief efforts in quake-hit Mindanao.

With the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), the group continues to send aid to Cotabato, Mindanao, which was struck by deadly 6.6and 6.5-magnitude earthquakes last October 29 and 31 respectively.

As of November 3, the quakes have killed 21 people, displaced over 21,810 individuals in 30 evacuation centers, and affected 178,305 people in 200 barangays across Regions 11 and 12 according to PDRF. “Ayala is coordinating the efforts across all our family of companies to move as one in cooperation with the local government to provide urgent aid for the affected communities in Mindanao,” said John Philip S. Orbeta, Ayala’s Chief Human Resource Officer & Group Head of Corporate Resources.

Other companies

across the Ayala group have already started their own relief efforts as well to provide immediate assistance.

Globe Telecom (Globe), in partnership with ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya and through the support of the 39th Infantry Battalion, has distributed food and blankets to about 1,680 displaced families and served over 2,000 individuals at two soup kitchens in three municipalities as of November 1, 2019.

Globe also set up Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging stations in Kidapawan City Hall, Tulunan City Hall and Plantation Residence, Makilala, to help victims get in touch with their families and friends.

Globe remains ready to deploy more free call and charging stations in the affected areas.

Manila Water and its social development arm Manila Water Foundation are distributing 2,320 five-gallon Healthy Family water bottles.

One thousand of these bottles will be distributed at Kidapawan

Globe activated its Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging stations in Kidapawan City Hall and Tulunan Municipal Hall, North Cotabato to be of service to residents severely affected by the quakes that hit the region.

Manila Water is on standby to deploy one of its Mobile Treatment Plants (MTP) to any affected area in Mindanao. The MTP, which is stationed in Caticlan, Boracay, can treat and convert any type

of raw water—river water, flood water, and even saltwater—into potable drinking water.

Ayala companies are also doing their part to aid the community and the affected families of their employees. Ayala Land (ALI) has been collecting donations in kind at Ayala Malls in nearby provinces since November 1.

Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro (CDO) is similarly collecting donations that will be distributed by the Philippine Red Cross and AFI in the Makilala and Kidapawan areas.

Furthermore, all Ayala Malls are donating old tarpaulins to be used as makeshift shelter.

ALI’s Seda Hotels are also contributing to the relief efforts for its affected employees and communities. Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) rolled out initial relief operations for affected employees in Kidapawan and Digos, providing them with basic necessities like temporary RELIEF/PAGE 11

CEBU CITY – Environmental authorities on Tuesday urged fishermen and coastal families to report to their local environment officers if they find wildlife animals trapped in their nets or strayed into their vicinity.

Rovidico Manueza, one of the workers, said about 10 of his companions began bringing the roofing materials to the top of the structure when the metal trusses collapsed. The steel posts were also bent when the trusses fell down.

Considering that the structure is still under construction, Maghinay said the contractor is still liable for any damage to the project.

Plaintiff is a private corporation created and existing under Philippine laws, with principal office address at NGCP Building, Quezon Avenue corner BIR Road, Diliman, Quezon City. It may be served with notices and other court processes through its Right-of-Way Department (ROWD) – Mindanao Division, Maria Cristina, Iligan City, copy furnished the aforementioned principal office.

Pursuant to Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9511, plaintiff was granted a franchise to operate, manage and maintain, and in connection therewith, to engage in the business of conveying or transmitting electricity through a high-voltage back-bone system of interconnected transmission lines, substations and related facilities, systems operations, and other activities that are necessary to support the safe and reliable operation of a transmission system and to construct, install, finance, manage, improve, expand, operate, maintain, rehabilitate, repair and refurbish the present nationwide transmission system of the Republic of the Philippines.

Under Section 4 of the same law, plaintiff was granted the power of eminent domain, subject to the requirements of the Constitution and existing laws.

Plaintiff is engaged in the business of transmitting electric power from the generating plants of power producers to distributors. As such, plaintiff’s business is imbued with public interest.

To address the country’s growing power demand and ensure continuous, reliable and efficient power supply, there is a need to interconnect the three (3) major power grids of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao into a single national grid. Aside from the sharing of systems reserve, the interconnection will also help optimize utilization of indigenous energy resources such as natural gas in Luzon, geothermal in the Visayas and hydro in Mindanao. Owing to this necessity, plaintiff must immediately construct the transmission lines that will transmit power to distributors of electricity not only in Mindanao but also in Luzon and Visayas. This undertaking is for the use and benefit of the public and part of it is known as the MINDANAO-VISAYAS INTERCONNECTION PROJECT (MVIP), integral part of which is the KAUSWAGAN-LALA 230kV TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT (Project).

The said MVIP is the first project certified by the Department of Energy (DOE) as an Energy Project of National Significance pursuant to R.A 7638 of DOE Act of 1992, as amended entitled to all the rights and privileges provided under Executive Order No. 30, series of 2017,1 as evidence by DOE Certification dated 8 May 2018 attached hereto as Annex “A”. It is targeted to be energized by December 2020.

Defendants, Spouses Delson Siao and Joyce Ratunil are both of legal age, Filipinos, and residents of #53 Quezon Avenue, corner Labao Street, Iligan City, where they may be served with summons and other processes of this Honorable Court.

Defendant, Rolando Pineda is likewise of legal age, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Kakai-Renabor, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, where he may be served with summons and other processes of this Honorable Court.

Defendant, Amelita Deogoso Paring is also of legal age, Filipino and a resident of Brgy. Kakai- Renabor, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, where she may be served with summons and other processes of this Honorable Court.

Plaintiff intends to expropriate portion of a parcel of registered land identified as Lot No. 13, GSS-372, situated in Brgy. Kakai-Renabor, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The said property is registered and declared for taxation purposes in the name of defendant Delson Siao married to Joyce Ratunil per Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-20, 9212 and Tax Declaration No. H-100031 (22).3 It is more particularly described below together with the affected area sought to be expropriated consisting of a total area of 11,899 square meters, as shown in the attached Sketch Plan4 and Technical Descriptions5.

Machine copies of the BIR Certification on the zonal valuation7 applicable to the subject property, Report on the Counts of Improvements8 and Valuation of Affected House/Structure9 are attached hereto.

Defendants, Rolando Pineda and Amelita Deogoso Paring are impleaded in this case in accordance with Sec. 1, Rule 67 of the Revised Rules of Civil Procedure being the alleged claimants of the structures and/or improvements on the subject property.

To enable the plaintiff to construct and maintain the Project, it is both necessary and urgent to acquire, upon payment of just compensation, the portion of the subject property, to ensure stability and reliability of the power supply in Mindanao and other regions of the country.

Plaintiff negotiated with defendants, through the office staff of Delson Siao, who forwarded NGCP’s letter offer to Mr. Delson Siao, for the acquisition of the affected portion of the subject property and to pay the cost of improvements/structures therein that may be damaged by the construction of the transmission line project. However, no agreement was reached between the parties.

Considering the urgent need for the plaintiff to enter the subject property to implement and commence the necessary construction activities for its Project, plaintiff has no other recourse but to file the instant complaint.

Rule 67 of the Revised Rules of Civil Procedure governs plaintiff’s expropriation cases, as expressly confirmed by R.A. 11361.10 Under Section 2 of Rule 67 of the Revised Rules of Civil Procedure, plaintiff may already enter and possess the subject property during the pendency of the expropriation case,11 thus: “SEC. 2. Entry of plaintiff upon depositing value with authorized government depositary. – Upon the filing of the complaint or at any time thereafter and after due notice to the defendant, the plaintiff shall have the right to take or enter upon the possession of the real property involved if he deposits with the authorized government depositary an amount equivalent to the assessed value of the property for purposes of taxation to be held by such bank subject to the orders of the court. Such deposit shall be in money, unless in lieu thereof the court authorizes the deposit of a certificate of deposit of a government bank of the Republic of the Philippines payable on demand to the authorized government depositary.”

In compliance with the notice requirement, plaintiff hereby serves, simultaneous with the filing of the instant Complaint, a Notice to Take Possession (Annex “I”) upon the defendants.

To comply with the deposit requirement, plaintiff, notwithstanding that R.A. 10752 does not specifically apply to it, shall deposit with the Honorable Court an amount equivalent to the 100% of the BIR zonal value of the land sought to be expropriated – an amount higher than its assessed value required by Rule 67, plus the cost of the affected improvements, in the total amount of EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE PESOS AND 52/100 (Php831,429.52), consistent with the purpose of the said law and OCA Circular No. 113-2019 to simplify the deposit requirement in expropriation cases for the benefit of the defendants and in the interest of immediate implementation of projects intended to benefit the public.

Upon deposit of the provisional amount, plaintiff would have fully complied with the requirements for the issuance of a writ of possession as mandated by law.

In a long line of cases12 and OCA Circular No. 113-2019, once the above requirements are complied with it, it becomes the ministerial duty of the trial court to issue the writ of possession in favor of the plaintiff, without need of any further hearing. Therefore, the Honorable Court can already immediately issue to the plaintiff an order to take possession of the property and start the implementation of the project.

WHEREFORE, premises duly considered, plaintiff most respectfully prays of this Honorable Court to: 1.

ISSUE a Writ of Possession in plaintiff’s favor; authorizing plaintiff to enter and take possession of the property subject of this complaint that will be affected by the construction and implementation of the MVIP-Kauswagan-Lala 230 kV Transmission Line Project, consisting of a total area of 11,899 square meters, more or less, as described in paragraph 10 hereof; demolish the affected structures standing therein; ordering all defendants to vacate the same; directing the Philippine National Police (PNP) to assist the plaintiff in the implementation of the said writ of possession so that project construction can immediately commence even during the pendency of the case and/or for the conduct of the counting of affected improvements, if necessary; 2.

ISSUE an Order of Expropriation declaring that the plaintiff has a lawful right to take possession and acquire the affected property specified in paragraph 10 hereof; 3.

After the determination of just compensation, to authorize the payment thereof by plaintiff to the defendants after deducting the capital gains and documentary stamp taxes for the transfer of the affected portion of Lot No. 13, GSS-372, in the name of plaintiff, all other outstanding taxes under the National Internal Revenue Code, and all outstanding realty taxes and dues under the Local Government Code, which plaintiff shall remit to the Government; 4.

ISSUE a judgment after determination of just compensation, declaring plaintiff as the lawful owner of the affected portion of Lot No. 13, GSS-372 consisting of a total area of 11,899 square meters, more or less, described in paragraph 10 hereof; 5. DIRECT: a.

The Registry of Deeds of Lanao del Norte to register the Order of Expropriation and Judgment on the TCT No. T-20,921 and issue a new transfer certificate of title in the name of the plaintiff with respect to the portion of the subject property sought to be expropriated herein; and b.

The Municipal Assessor of Tubod and/or Provincial Assessor of Lanao del Norte to cancel Tax Declaration No. H-100031 (22) and issue new and separate tax declaration covering the portion of the subject property sought to be expropriated herein.

These include the indigenous Kisum Kaong Vinegar by the RAM Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi Purpose Cooperative (RARBEMCO) in Rosario tow n and t he MAM-C Pure Cacao Tableya by Magkiangkang Multi Purpose Cooperative (MAMPC) from the highland mountain village of Magkiangkang in Bayugan City.

Jamil Amatonding Jr., Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II, said helping agrarian reform beneficiaries gain sustainable livelihood is a priority of the Department of Agrarian Reform by improving their capacity to develop certain products on their farms.

“Our purpose is to expand their products from the local to the cities and even the global market,” Amatonding said.

Already, the Tableya product from MAMPC had already reached the Japan market only that there had been a stronger demand for export to a Japanese company but they can only provide lower than 500 kilos of purchase order per month.

MAMPC were given some 120 hectares farm lands as ARBs but farmers could not still produce enough cacao beans for the bigger production of Tableyas.

The cacao beans also produced by farmers in their neighboring mountain villages have already been developed into a world-class healthy chocolates which was introduced to the Dubai market last year by Overseas Filipino Worker and master chocolatier Lutchie Suguitan.

Suguitan and her sister Iman, also an OFW, pioneered the social enterprise dubbed OFW Para sa Magsasaka (OPM) in 2016 helping farmers improved their yield with the right technology and trained them make healthy chocolates.

Fo r t h e i r p a r t , t h e Kisum vinegar makers of RARBEMCO are already getting attention to the local market after their product were displayed to all outlets of Sinubong by VPO farms meat shops.

Merlyn Canonigo, manager of RARBEMCO’s Kisum Vinegar processing, said their product is made of the fruits of Sweet Palms which are aplenty in their villages and in many areas near Agusan Marsh.

Kisum, a Manobo word for sour, was first discovered by a certain Lola Untang, the mother of Vevencio P. Ocite who is the CEO of VPO Farms, who painstakingly processed the fruits for six months through fermentation and pasteurization to make an excellent taste.

Amatonding believed Kisum could make it to the global market because of its unique taste that a foreign diplomat who visited his home liked it that he wanted to order more bottles.

He urged FDA holders to display their products at the DAR central office since there are foreign investors frequenting there who might be interested to venture into partnerships for a bigger production to the world market.

But based on initial i n f o r m at i o n g at h e r e d , Maghinay said it was found out that the steel trusses have not yet been welded purposely to allow any adjustments that will have to be made first.

Other contributory factor, she said, is the series of earthquakes that occurred last week.

The earthquake, Maghinay said, might have affected the integrity of the structure.

The DPWH-10 official said it is unlikely that the steel bars used in the construction of the covered court were made of substandard

materials since that the agency has checked if the supplies provided by the contractor have passed the quality assurance test before the project implementation.

Considering that the structure is still under construction, Maghinay said the contractor is still liable for any damages to the project.

“If the contractor will have to rebuild the structure, they will should the additional cost,” she said.

Lope Matildo, Bonbon councilor and the acting barangay chairman, said he received report that the structure, which is still under construction, has caved in, at around 5:00 p.m.

Matildo said it appeared that the steel bars used were not sturdy enough that it gave way when workers brought in about 105 galvanized iron sheets to the top portion of the structure to be installed as the building’s roofing.

He said the covered court was constructed under the initiative 1st District Rep. Rolando Uy. Construction was started on June 6, 2019 and is 80 percent complete.

According to the information provided by the DPWH-10, the contractor of the said project is AT Builder and General Merchandize.

The information, posted on a tarpaulin in front of the damaged structure, did not indicate the business address and other details of the contractor.

Due to the impact of the collapse, three workers were injured, and one of them in critical condition as his legs were hit by falling steel bars.

Rovidico Manueza, one of the workers, said about 10 of his companions began bringing the roofing materials to the top of structure when the metal trusses caved. The building steel posts were bent when the trusses fell down.

Those who were injured were identified Arjel Gallan, 22; Ronnie Miñoza, 26; and Wilson Berja, 27, all from Salay town, Misamis Oriental and construction workers.

Of the three, Manueza said Berja sustained the most serious injuries as his leg was reportedly hit by falling steel bars.

'Trading Tactics' Will Guide Your Stock Picks

PPORTUNITIES are present whether the stock market is bullish or bearish, but how to strategize to accumulate the best return on investments requires some expert advice.

This is what online trading platform BDO Nomura Securities, the joint venture company between BDO Unibank and Nomura Holdings of Japan, recently did via the launch of “Trading Tactics,” a session featuring market intel straight from industry movers. Said event was shown live on Facebook as well.
