Tourism roadshows DAVAO Ciy – The local government of Davao City is considering to conduct more roadshows this coming 2018 to promote the city as an investment and tourism destination. “Our target for next year is to do more roadshows, both international and domestic, because you will be surprised that some places in the country don’t know much about Davao,” said Generose Tecson, head of the City Tourism Operations Office. She said that the roadshow will be inspired by the investment and tourism blitz held in Japan on October 2017, where a team visited the cities of Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo to promote Davao City. Members of the team include representatives from the city government and from the private sector.
