Briefly Industrial park BANAYBANAY, Davao Oriental – The Davao Oriental provincial government and its foreign partner Pionaire Finance Limited held a ceremonial ground breaking for the multi-billion industrial park in Banaybanay town, Davao Oriental Wednesday. The event followed the signing of a memorandum of agreement between Governor Nelson Dayanghirang and Pionaire President Bill Shen during the Davao Oriental Industrial Park Business Conference at the Marco Polo Hotel. Dayanghirang said the province hopes the proposed 1,500-hectare industrial zone would usher in socio-economic improvement to the province and its people. It is expected to draw investments and 20,000 local jobs.

One Mindanao Expo DAVAO City -- President Rodrigo Duterte led the banging of the ceremonial gong during the recent two-day Mindanao-wide Organic and Natural Expo (ONE Mindanao). Joining the President as honored guest was Senator Cynthia Villar and officials from the Department of Agriculture led by Undersecretary Bernadette Romulo Puyat representing Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Pinol. During the event the President took a peek of several products exhibited even taking a sip of the lemon grass water extract sold by Happy Farmer, a retail shop selling eco-friendly health foods sourced from across Mindanao.
