Briefly K-12 lauded INTERNATIONAL communities have sent a message of appreciation to education officials in Northern Mindanao for the implementation of the “K to 12” program in the region. Dr. Allan Farnazo, DepEd Regional Director, issued the statement Wednesday amid criticism by various sectors about the government’s K to 12 program allegedly being an added burden to the poor. Farnazo said that students and teachers from Australia, South Korea, Japan, and elsewhere in Europe sent congratulatory messages to officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) for implementing the K to 12 program in the region.
