Kabuhayan project TAGOLOAN, Misamis Oriental -- Department of Labor and Employment Eastern Misamis Oriental (DOLE-EMO) conducted a two-day Enterprise Management Enhancement Seminar cum Livelihood Projects Assessment to 30 associations in Tagoloan Misamis Oriental. “DOLE conducted this seminar to help sustain the livelihood projects or businesses we granted financially. We do not cease to extend our support and assistance from the time of release of the grant until the businesses prosper,” said DOLE- 10 EMO PFO Chief Errol A. Natividad. Natividad discussed the salient features of Department Order No. 173, Series of 2017 or the revised guidelines in the implementation of the Department of Labor and Employment Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP), particularly on the Kabuhayan Program component.
Temporary shelters TASK Force (TF) Bangon Marawi will turn over 500 temporary shelters on Dec. 27, the Office of Civil Defense said Friday. In a statement, the office said the TF “will soon turn over 500 transitional shelters to identified recipient families of Brgy. Sagonsongan, Marawi City.” The office noted the ceremony will be presided by President Rodrigo Duterte. The local government of Marawi City will also present the beneficiary list to the task force this Friday. Around 18,000 families have returned to their respective communities in Marawi City.

SELECT branches of Sy-led Banco de Oro Unibank Inc. (BDO) will be operating on shortened hours for several days this coming Christmas holidays. In an advisory, BDO said shortened banking hours in selected mall branches would be up on December 24 and 31 and on December 30 for those operating on Saturdays. On December 25 and on January 1, 2018, all branches will be closed. However, all branches
will be on regular operating hours from December 26 to 29 and on January 2, 2018, the bank said. BDO clients can access the full list of the bank’s branches operating hours during the holidays through its website.
