Negosyo Centers THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) region 10 together with the provincial offices during a press briefing in Cagayan de Oro City on 11 December 2015 emphasized their support for productivity improvement and market expansion of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), among others. Provincial Director Ma. Eliza A. Pabillore of DTI Misamis Oriental explained that they focus their assistance based on the SME development plan which comprises of four areas of concern particularly enabling business development, access to finance, access to market and productivity and efficiency. Christmas bazaar SURIGAO City -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Surigao del Norte provincial office on its effort to provide market venue for the local producers of the province is organizing the Christmas bazaar dubbed “Christmas Bazaar Nan Surigao” from December 4 to December 11, 2015 at the Luneta Park, this city. The seven-day activity displays and sells locally produced goods from DTI-assisted entrepreneurs provincewide. The bazaar highlights various local products including gifts and novelty items, processed food, native delicacies and baskets among others.

ALAY production in Northern Mindanao has gone down by 2.5 percent in the third quarter of this year, bringing down the region’s total output to 186,082 metric tons even as the provinces of Lanao del Norte and Misamis Oriental both posted two digit increases in production.
