Cajardo, chief of the LTO regional law enforcement unit, said that transportation officials would deploy personnel in bus terminals to examine bus and public utility drivers of alcohol traces. The LTO has already acquired “breath analyzer,” a gadget used for the enforcement of the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act (R.A. No. 10586), implemented on June 17, 2013, Cajardo said. She said that the antidrunk and drugged driving campaign started in Cagayan De Oro City at the start of the month of April 2015 and would go on a region wide campaign.
